Charles A. “Charlie” Quijano, USAF, Ret., age 76 of Bostic died Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Hospice House in Forest City.  Charlie was born on August 3, 1949, in and he was a son of the late Charles and Rachel Guilbeault Quijano.  He was born in Dracut, Mass and he was raised in Lowell, Mass. where he graduated high school.  He joined the United States Air Force in 1968 and served until his retirement at the rank of Technical Seargent in 1988.    

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Tognarelli Quijano and a daughter, Lisa Quijano.

Survivors include his sons, Michael Quijano of Colorado, David Quijano of Shelby, his daughters, Sara Quijano and Amee Quijano both of Rutherfordton, his brother, Victor Quijano of Massachusetts, and his sister, Pauline Scoby of Colorado.  There are 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

A service from the graveside will be held at 2 o’clock on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 prior to the service at Padgett and King.
