Charles D. Greene, Sr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father. Charles (MC) Greene Sr. His presence filled our lives with warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support. While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the remarkable life he lived and the legacy he leaves behind. Born and raised with strong values, and determination from a young age. He approached every challenge with integrity, perseverance, and a sense of responsibility. He touched the life of so many.

Survived by his loving Family; Present wife Trina (Pendergraft) Greene, 1st wife Carolyn (Greene) Holtsclaw, Children; Charles & Anita Greene Jr, Annette & Carl Turnmire, Shane & Tiffany Greene, Nickolas & Deseree Pendergraft, Derek Pendergraft, Travis Pendergraft. Grandchildren; Domonique & Nick Ellis, Michael & Cade Elswick, Sherrita Elswick, Katie & Stephanie Turnmire, Kelsey & Andrew Robison, Shane Townsend, Shawna & Tyler Fievez. Great Grandchildren; Jacob Silcox, Maverick Ellis, Chantz Ellis, Kiley Ellis, Connor Elswick, Elektra Quinn, Ansley Mae Robison, Titus Robison, Aiden Fievez, Paisley Fievez, Owen Fievez, Skyler Pendergraft, Nichole Pendergraft. As well as countless friends and relatives who will miss him dearly. We are grateful for every moment spent with him and will cherish his memory forever.

Though he is no longer with us physically, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved him. Rest in peace, Dad. Your love and guidance will remain with us forever!

The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock on Monday, January 5, 2026 in The Padgett and King Chapel with Evangelist Kyle Fisher officiating.  Interment will follow at Piney Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery, Ellenboro.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 4:30 until 6:30 at The Padgett and King Mortuary. A reception will follow the graveside service at the Ellenboro Club House in Ellenboro.
