Caysia Prescott Davis, age 27 of Rutherfordton died Sunday, September 10, 2023. She was born on December 16, 1995, and a native of Rutherford County. Caysia worked in housekeeping at a local resort.
She is survived by her mother, Misty Prescott Wilkins, and the father that raised her, Van Wilkins, her father, Franklin Davis, Jr., her son, August Cassius Jones, and her life partner, Kalyssia Jones, a brother, Zamarion Wilkins, her sisters, Jalin Wilkins, Chandy Davis (Destiny), Crennan Davis (Lucas), Allison Oates, and Zamara Wilkins, her grandparents, Jimmie and Gina Prescott, Lena Thomas, and Darrell Wilkins, a special aunt, Mack Prescott, a special mother, Sandy Miller as well as a number of extended family and friends that loved her.
A memorial service is being planned for a later date and will be announced by the family.
