Catherine Bright Beheler

Catherine Bright Beheler, age 76 of Forest City, died Friday, November 13, 2020 at her home. 

Born June 6, 1944 in Rutherford County, North Carolina she was the daughter of the late Wilbert Woodrow Bright and Dorothy Hardin Bright. She was a graduate of Cool Springs High School, employed by Winn-Dixie for 38 years where she served as the Floral Manager and a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Bright, and a step-son.

Surviving are her husband, Michael Beheler of Forest City; her son, Joe Brent Allen of Forest City; nieces and nephews, Angela and Scott Padgett, Sherry and Brad Oakes, Scott Bright and Brian and Denise Bright as well as five step-children.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 2 o’clock at the Eternal Hills Memorial Park. The body will lie in state on Tuesday from 9 until 12 o’clock noon at the Padgett & King Chapel. It is requested that Facemasks be worn and Social Distancing be observed.
