Carroll Hartman King-Harrill of Forest City died December 15, 2018. A native of Morristown, Tennessee, she was born September 26, 1922 to the late Thomas H. and Cassandra G. Hartman. Carroll was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Forest City and with her first husband, she was co-owner of King's Jewelers in Forest City.
She was preceded in death by first husband, O. Fred King and second husband, Howard B. Harrill, as well as five brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include two sons, S. Fred King and wife Gail of Greensboro, NC, and J. David King of Harrisonburg, Virginia, one step-son, R. Scott Harrill of Forest City, and a special and loving step-daughter, Linda Harrill Lovelace and husband Tim of Forest City and her devoted friend and caregiver, Martha Green.
There are also six grandchildren, Kerri King Guild, Carol Anne King, Kim M. Bridges, Steven King, Ryan King, Jason Harrill, , great-granddaughters, Maggie Anne Guild, Chloe E. Ketchum, Sophie M. Ketchum, Madalyn Roudabush, Ava Roudabush, Piper Caroline King, Annie E. King, Presley E. Harrill, Abigail Harrill, and great-grandsons, Logan Guild, Garrett Bridges, and Tyler Bridges.
A Service from the graveside will be held at two o'clock on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Faye Herbin and Reverend Dale Austin officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.
