Carolyn Cantrell Goode age 79 of Forest City died Friday, January 5, 2024, at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. Carolyn was born March 10, 1944, in Norfolk, Virginia and was a daughter of the late Bailey and Margaret Routh Cantrell. She was a member of the Rutherford Church of Christ and volunteered at Hospice.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Michael “Pete” Goode, her daughter Donna Goode Dyer and her brother Bobby Cantrell
She is survived by her son; Pete Goode and wife Rebekah of Catawba, VA, her daughter; Debra Williams and husband Sam of Forest City, her sister; Harriet Yelton and husband Don of Hendersonville, NC and seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
