Bobby Burrell Obituary

Bobby Eugene Burrell, age 87 of Forest City died Saturday, April 24, 2021 at his residence. Bobby was born on March 16, 1934 in Greenville County, South Carolina and was a son of the late Oscar and Bernice Cathcart Burrell. He worked in textiles for Burlington Industries at the J. C. Cowan Plant and then for Sara Lee Knit in Gaffney where he retired as Dye House Supervisor. Bobby was also a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and he served for two years in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Merry Lou Olson Burrell of the home, a son, Mike Burrell and a daughter, Kim Fowler both of Landrum, South Carolina, a stepdaughter, Susan Radford and husband David English of Monroe, North Carolina. He also has three sisters all of Landrum as well as six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
