Beverly Ann Morrow Gordon, 78, of U S Highway 221-A, Forest City, died Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. Born in Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late James Monroe Morrow and Annabelle Melton Morrow. Beverly worked for many years in textiles and following her retirement, she assisted her husband, Ken, in his brick masonry business. She was a member of Sisk Memorial Missionary Methodist Church and enjoyed working in her yard.
Survivors include her husband of forty eight years, Kenneth Lee Gordon of the home; sons, Kenneth Robert Gordon (Donna) of Forest City, NC, Jimmy Lee Gordon (Shelley) of Ellenboro, NC and Eddie Jones of Bostic, NC; a daughter, Leigh Ann Gordon of Rutherfordton, NC; brothers, Talmadge Morrow of Henrietta, NC, Bobby Morrow and John Morrow, both of Ellenboro, NC; sisters, Lillian Coffey and Teresa Panther, both of Forest City, NC, Lisa Brooks and Joy Brooks, both of Ellenboro, NC; grandchildren, Teri Dalton, Dawn Ormand, Drew & Clay Gordon, Corey, Kenley and Asheleigh Adams, Tiffany Filer and Mandy Jones; and great grandchildren, Cody Dalton, Colton Gordon, Garrett Livengood, Waylon Lee Adams, Austin and Alexis Mathis.
Funeral services will be held 2 pm Tuesday, February 16, 2021 in The Padgett & King Chapel with Rev. Frank Lewis, Rev. Roger Hall and David Kontz officiating. Interment will follow in the Morrow Curve Cemetery, Forest City. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Padgett & King. The family will be at the home of her son on Robin Lane, Ellenboro.
