Beulah Hamrick Fite, age 84 of Ellenboro died Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Hospice House in Forest City.  Beulah was born on April 14, 1941, in Cliffside, North Carolina and was a daughter of the late Dewey Stephen Hamrick and Louise Vivian Padgett Hamrick. 

Beulah was a member of Campfield Memorial Baptist Church, and she worked with her late husband in their wholesale car business.  She was a devoted wife, and a loving mother and grandmother. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Roland Fite in 2020, as well as four brothers, Jim Hamrick, Burt Hamrick, Britt Hamrick and Joe Hamrick.

Survivors include her daughters, Connie Gail Fite of Smithfield, North Carolina, Rhonda Fite Moore and husband Shawn of Forest City, and Patricia Anne (Patty) Fite of Ellenboro. There are also four grandchildren, Casey Roland Chalfant and wife Laura, Christopher Andrew Chalfant, John William Smart, and Hunter Caden Fite.

A service from the graveside will be held at 11 o’clock on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Campfield Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.  Mrs. Carol Gettys and her grandson, Casey Chalfant, will deliver eulogies. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
