Betty was the CEO of the Gantenbein house hold. She never worked out of the home. Her joy was taking care of her late husband, Keith Dale Gantenbein and their four daughters.

Betty was raised as a child in California until she and her husband moved to Rutherfordton in 1980 where they made their home.

Betty known as Momma, Nana, and Nannie to all of us that loved her, trusted the Lord with all her heart and learned early in life to have a real personal relationship with her Father God, talking to him daily, bringing each family member before God by name.

She was a sincere prayer warrior. Her heart was for everyone to have a closer walk with the Lord. She loved sharing the word of the Lord with others and letting people know that it is important to ask Jesus to forgive your sins and live for him. That was her life to the end.
