Annie Jean Hobbs, age 83 of Rutherfordton died Friday, November 25, 2022, at Hospice of The Carolina Foothills in Forest City. Annie was born on August 30, 1939, in Rutherfordton and was a daughter of the late Victor and Leona Shehan Webb.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jonah William Hobbs and a son, James William Hobbs.

Survivors include her son, Vance David Hobbs, her sister, Nancy Turner, her grandchildren, Brooke and Gracie, and great-granddaughter, Shayleigh Hobbs, as well as nieces, Sharon Turner and Negail Hobbs, and nephews, Mike Turner and Ricky Hobbs.

Services will be private for the family.
