Angela Jean (Simmons) Scott

Angela Jean Scott, age 68 of Forest City died Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Hospice of The Carolina Foothills in Forest City.  Angie as she was known to her family and friends was born on November 20, 1954, in Dunbar, West Virginia and was a daughter of the late Eugene and Delores Simmons. 

Angie was a dedicated and active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Forest City as well as a homemaker and an excellent cook.  She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. 

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Frank A. Scott of the home, her sons, Thomas Schowerth of Forest City, Christopher Schowerth of Gastonia and Anthony Scott of Forest City, her brothers, Randall Simmons and Timmy Simmons, and sisters, Tonja Hopper and Tammy Fisher.  Thera are also three grandchildren, Anthony Custer, Curtis Schowerth, and Kami Schowerth. 

A memorial service will be held at 11 Am on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Mt. Pleasant Church Road, Forest City with Bishop Dale Workman officiating.
