Paul Allen Morrow, age 56 of Rutherfordton died Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville. 

Allen was born on November 20, 1968, in Rutherford County and was a son of the late Wayne Morrow and Dianne Ray Morrow.  He honorably served his country in the United States Army in the Gulf War during Operation Desert Storm. 

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Nickie Morrow.

Survivors include his son, Paul Allen Morrow (Chelsie), Johnathan Wyatt, his adopted son, Mark Morrow, his daughter, Kirstin Morrow, and his adopted daughter, Ashely Morrow Burnette (Jesse).  There are also a number of grandchildren, cousins, his former wife, Regina Wyatt and his sister-in-heart, Kally Dotson. 

A memorial service will be held  at 2 o'clock on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in The Padgett and King Chapel with the Reverend Greg Huntley officiating.  Military honors will be accorded at the chapel following the service.  Interment of his ashes will be held at the Western North Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, North Carolina. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 o'clock prior to the service at the mortuary.
