Yvonne Greene Obituary

Yvonne Lovelace Greene, age 79 of Bostic died Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Hospice House of Forest City. She was born August 13, 1939 in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Elbert Hugh Lovelace and Maggie Hardin Lovelace.

Yvonne was a retired textile worker and a faithful member of Cherry Mountain Baptist Church where she was very active and enjoyed church activities. She also enjoyed arts and crafts. Her brothers, Edward Hugh Lovelace and Ronnie Lovelace preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sisters, Naomi Murray and husband Colon of Bostic, Sandra Graul of Bostic as well as three nieces, six nephews , and a number of great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Friday at Cherry Mountain Baptist Church with Reverend Danny Black officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon until 1PM prior to the service at the church.
