Vivian Hazlett Black, age 85 of Burns Road, Ellenboro died Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Willow Ridge Nursing Center where she was a resident. She was born January 24, 1934 in Carney, Baltimore County Maryland and was a daughter of the late Edmond E. and Eva Stevens Hazlett. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Black, a brother, Ed Hazlett and sister, Lola Hazlett.
Survivors include her children, Wanda Baker of Scranton PA, William Hazlett and wife Denise of Dundalk MD, Grason Lapole, Frank Lapole, and Wayne Lapole all of Maryland; grandchildren Missy Johnson and husband Erik, Lorraine Conway and husband David, Stanley Baker, Ben Baker, Tiffany Hazlett, Brittany Hazlett, Frank Lapole, Wayne Lapole, Allison Lapole, Mackenzie Lapole, and 11 great grandchildren as well as her brother-in-law, Alan Black and wife Karen of Ellenboro, sister-in-law, Linda Short and niece, Cindy Snyder both of Ellenboro.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock Monday, April 29, 2019 in The Padgett and King Chapel with Reverend Alvin Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 PM Sunday evening at Padgett and King.
