Shirley Gosey Obituary

Shirley Wall Gosey, age 77, of Ellenboro, died, Sunday, April 23, 2018, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. A native of South Carolina, she is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Wall; a weaver in the textile industry, former cafeteria worker at East High School, and member of the Harmon Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Gosey.

She is survived by two daughters, Sheila Head and husband Bobby of Ellenboro, Sharlene Stacy and husband Gary of Mooresboro, five grandchildren, Carrie Ann Stott (Keith), Katie Marie Head, Cindy Marie Stacy, Megan Renee Stacy, and Shelley Lynn Stacy. There are two brothers, a sister, and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM, Saturday, April 28, 2018, at the Harmon Street Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Cleveland Memorial Park.
