Scott Bradshaw Obituary

Scott Wayne Bradshaw,, age 49 of Cross Hill, South Carolina and a former resident of Rutherford County died Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.  Scott was born November 10, 1968 in Rutherford County and is the son of Phyllis Hayes Bradshaw of Cross Hill, SC and the late Charles Ray Bradshaw who died in 2015. 

 

He was a graduate of East Rutherford High School in the Class of 1988 and was a former member of Temple Baptist Church in Henrietta.  Scott was a proud firefighter joining the Ellenboro Fire Department as a teenager and served on the Board of Directors of the fire department.  He also had served as volunteer firefighter for the Forest City Fire Department and former member of Rutherford County Rescue.

 

Scott began working for the Town of Forest City in the Meter Department before becoming a Class A Lineman for Pike Electric where he retired.  He also operated Bradshaw Lawn Care Service. 

 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his two sons, Tyler Scott Bradshaw and Colby Wayne Bradshaw both of Ellenboro, a brother, Charles Bryan Bradshaw of Forest City and a sister, Frances Gail Bradshaw of Cross Hill, SC.

 

Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock  Sunday, April 8, 2018 in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Reverend Sam Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:45 pm on Sunday at the church prior to the service.  Firefighter honors for his faithful service will be accorded by the Rutherford County Fire Honor Guard and members of the Ellenboro Fire Department.
