Sarah Marilyn Adair

FOREST CITY, NORTH CAROLINA

Sarah Marilyn Adair, age 51 of Briarwood Lane, Forest City, died December 20, 2019.  Sarah was born April 4, 1968 in Rutherford County and was a daughter of Carlene Wright Adair of Forest City and the late Joe H. Adair who died in 2011.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Forest City and had worked as a CNA.  Sarah enjoyed sports and played on the basketball team while in Junior High School and later softball at East Rutherford High School where she graduated in the class of 1986.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Cindy Adair Hardin.

Survivors include her mother, Carlene Wright Adair of Forest City, a brother, Mark Adair and wife Kim of Charleston, South Carolina as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 o'clock on Friday, December 27, 2019 in the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Faye Herbin officiating.  Inurnment will follow in the Cool Springs Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 o'clock Friday in the sanctuary of the church.
