Mary Eunice (Martin) Harrill

Mary Eunice Harrill, age 88 of Chapman Road, Forest City died Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Hospice of The Carolina Foothills.  She was born December 17, 1929 in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late John L. Martin and Lillie Vernon Weaver Martin.  Eunice was a homemaker and a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She loved her flowers, vegetable gardening, sewing and crocheting. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe T. Harrill in 2011 and her son-in-law, Larry Bailey.

Survivors include two sons, Ronnie Harrill and wife Gail of Forest City, Randy Harrill and wife Sandy of Rutherfordton, two daughters, Rita Bailey, and Lynn Cole and husband Steve all of Forest City, brother, Charles Martin of Harris, NC, and sister, Inez Martin of Forest City.  There are also nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at eleven o'clock in the morning, Saturday, May 19, 2018 in the Sandy Mush Baptist Church with Reverend Carroll Page and Reverend Stephen Matheny officiating.  Interment will follow in the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.  The family will greet friends at the cemetery at the conclusion of the graveside service.
