Margaret Rollins Obituary

Margaret Rollins, of East Main Street, Forest City, formerly of Spring Lake, NC, died Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. Born in Forest City, she was a daughter of the late Cary Selvey McFarland and widow of the late Hugh Martin Rollins. Margaret was a member of Florence Baptist Church, Forest City, Spring Lake Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 333 and the Cumberland County Shrinettes.

Survivors include her sisters, Martha Jean McFarland of Forest City, NC, Peggy M. Harrill of Gastonia, NC, Lottie M. McAbee of Gaffney, SC and Mary M. Hinkle and husband Mike of Charlotte, NC.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Monday, April 9, 2018 in the Florence Baptist Church with Dr. Bobby Gantt officiating. Interment will follow in the Cool Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm Monday in the church Narthex. Memorials may be made to Florence Baptist Church, 201 S. Broadway Street, Forest City, NC 28043.
