Marcia Dycus Graybeal

Marcia Dycus Graybeal, age 72 of Forest City died  Friday, June 28, 2019 at her residence.  Marcia was born March 7, 1947 in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Ralph R. and Evelyn Martin Dycus.  She was also a homemaker and a faithful member of Florence Baptist Church where she was involved in many of the church's activities. 

Marcia was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a "Nanny" to many children.  She was always supportive of her grandchildren in every activity and was always in attendance at every dance, PTO, sporting event and recital. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Lloyd Graybeal in 2005 and her brother, Donald Dycus.

Survivors include her daughters, Tracy Graybeal Self and husband Terry of Bostic, Nikki Graybeal Brock and husband Kerry of Forest City, grandchildren, Taylor Self Conner and husband Aaron of Forest City, Trent Self and wife Ashley of Bostic, Nathan Brock, Natalie Brock, and Karsyn Brock all of Forest City, two honorary grandchildren, Phil and Amber Styles and her expectant great-grandchild of Taylor and Aaron that is due in January of 2020.

The funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock Sunday, June 30, 2019 in the Florence Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Bobby Gantt officiating.  Interment will follow in the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Bostic.  The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 o'clock Sunday in the church Narthex as well as following the graveside service at the cemetery.
