Lorene Hoyle

Lorene Hayes Hoyle, 76, of Oak Grove Church Road, Bostic, died Monday, January 6, 2020 at Henderson Care Center, Forest City.  Born in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late William Tommy Hayes and Linnie Cogdell Hayes.  She was a homemaker, a volunteer at the VA Hospital in Asheville, NC, enjoyed camping at Lake James Landing and was a die hard Atlanta Braves fan. 

Survivors include her husband, Maurice "Rocky" Hoyle, of the home; sons, Jerry Henson (Belinda) of Leland, NC and Howard Henson (Allison) of Chesnee, SC; daughter, Priscilla Mitchell of Kings Mountain, N C; a sister, Kathleen Hamrick (Ray) of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, Brian Jeremy Philbeck (Amanda), Simon Philbeck, Christopher Mitchell, Ashley Grim (Ryan), Bryn Henson, Colin Henson, Courtney West, and Morgan Atchley and six great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in the Padgett & King Chapel with Rev. Sam Henderson officiating.  Interment will follow in the Oak Grove UMC Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Wednesday at Padgett & King.
