Linda Scoggins Obituary

Linda Sue Watson Scoggins, age 71, of Rutherfordton, died, Friday, November 2, 2018, at Fair Haven of Forest City. A native of Rutherford county, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Paul Watson and Edith Massagge Watson, and was homemaker. Linda was preceded in death by a daughter, Denise Hoppes Hinton in 2014.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Donna Hoppes Shippam of Rutherfordton, step-son, Danny Hoppes and wife Brenda of Mooresboro, brother, Gary Watson of Forest City, granddaughters, Ashley Lowery and husband Barry of Forest City, Kristen Greene of Union Mills, and great grandchildren, Dakota Lowery, Alyx Lowery, and Ava’Leigh Littlejohn.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date by The Padgett & King Mortuary & Crematory.
