Judy Ann (Millwood) O'Dell

Judy Millwood O'Dell, age 62 of Forest City died Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at Hospice House in Forest City.  Judy was born May 26, 1957 in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Clarence James Millwood and Myrtle Willis Millwood.

Judy received her Associates Degree in Business from Isothermal Community College. After receiving her degree, she went to work for Isothermal Community College where she currently was working in the Business Office.  She was also a member of New Testament Assembly Church in Spindale.  Judy was an avid reader and enjoyed reading and volunteer work.

She was also preceded by her adoptive parents whom she loved,  the late Howard and Gertrude Emory.

Survivors include her husband, Joe G. O'Dell, a son, Jay O'Dell and wife, Marianna of Shelby,  a daughter, Jennifer O'Dell Wilson and husband Mitchelle of Pickens, SC, her brothers, Steve Millwood and wife Teresa of Statesville, and Gene Millwood and wife Denise of Forest City.  There are also four grandchildren, Chloe, Brealyn, Lucas, and Maeven.

The memorial service will be held at 12 o'clock noon on Saturday, October 12, 2019 in The Padgett and King Chapel with Reverend Michael Dalton and Reverend Chris Fox officiating.   The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:45 prior to the service at the mortuary.
