Judy Robinson Jones

Judy Robinson Jones, age 76 of Ellenboro, died Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. Judy was born March 3, 1941 in Cherokee County, South Carolina and was a daughter of the late Frank and Eddie Fish Robinson. She was a homemaker and for many years was a faithful caregiver to several elderly patients in the community. Judy was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and was the wife of the late Nelson Jones who died in 2017. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Susie Smart, and brothers, Jack and Roger Robinson.

Judy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In recent years her greatest joy was keeping her great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Jones Watts of Mill Spring, NC, granddaughter, Jamie Moss and husband Chris of Mill Spring, great-grandchildren, Brantley and Andy Moss, a brother, P. D. Robinson and wife Sharon of Ellenboro, three sisters, Betty Lattimore and Reba Lattimore and husband Hugh all of Rutherfordton, Bernice Goode of Maiden, NC, sister-in-law, Judy Kay Bowman and Barbara Harrison.

Funeral services will be held at eleven o'clock Friday in the Corinth Baptist Church with the Reverend Mike Conner and Reverend Dr. David Jendrey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock Thursday evening at The Padgett and King Mortuary.
