Joseph Leo Johns, age 67 of Rosedale Drive, Forest City died Friday, July 26, 2019 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He was born November 13, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan and was a son of the late Leo G. Johns and Alice Sassin Baumgart. Joe was raised in the Catholic Church and worked as an appliance specialist for Lowe's of Forest City.

Survivors include his wife, Elena Serakos Johns, his son, Joseph Leo Johns, Jr. and daughter, Jessica Johns, a sister, Mary Adamus and brother, Michael Johns.
