Jennie Hendrix Medford

Jennie Hendrix Medford, age 103 of Alexander Mills,  died Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.   She was born in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Marion and Minnie Hendrix.  Jennie was a homemaker and a member of the former Alexander Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Dovie, two infant brothers and her husband, George Edgar Medford.

Jennie was the last  surviving member of her immediate family.  She is survived by her caregivers , Terry and Susan Byers and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held at four o'clock Tuesday in The Padgett and King Chapel with Reverend Bob Philbeck officiating.  Interment will follow in the Eternal Hills Memorial Park.  Visitation will be from 3 until 4 o'clock Tuesday at the mortuary prior to the service.
