Jeanette (Fox) Gibson

Jeanette Fox Gibson, age 71 died Sunday, February 25, 2018 at her residence in Henrietta.   She was a native of Union County, South Carolina and a daughter of the late Ralph and Annie Lou Arrowood Fox.   Jeanette was a member of the Grace Chapel in Forest City and was loving wife, mother, sister and a beloved grandmother.  Her sons, Roy B. Gibson, III and Timothy Scott Gibson and grandson, Johnathon Allen Miller all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Roy B. Gibson, Jr. of the home, two daughters, Jeanne Gibson Owens and husband Johnny of Henrietta, Elaine Gibson of Caroleen, two brothers, Joe Fox of Houston, TX, and Kenneth Fox of Union SC.  There are also eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

A service from the graveside will be held at 2:30 PM Friday in the Oak Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Rickey Poteat officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 PM Friday prior to the graveside service at the mortuary.
