GAIL LUCKADOO DOBBINS

Gail Luckadoo Dobbins, age 71 of Mooresboro passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019  and was reunited with her husband and son.

Born on May 18,1947 in Cleveland County, North Carolina she was the daughter of the late Boyd W. and Joyce Lancaster Luckadoo. Gail was a graduate of Crest High School and Gardner-Webb University and  began a career with Duke Energy where she was a Superintendent of Station Services and also a Human Resources Consultant. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church where she enjoyed playing the piano and singing in the church choir.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, R. Dean Dobbins, a son, Jason Dobbins, and a brother, Gerald Luckadoo.

Surviving are her grandson, Andy Dean Dobbins and his wife, Keelee, grandchildren, Paislee H. Jones and Peyton Dean Dobbins ; Sisters-in-law, Shirley R. Luckadoo of Salisbury, NC, Judy and Ray Crowe, and Phyllis and Jerry Parker, all of Shelby, NC, brothers-in-law, Joey and Heidi Dobbins of Shelby, NC, Bob and Kay Dobbins of Greenville, SC and Bill and Susan Dobbins of Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Friday at Trinity Baptist Church, with Reverend Mike Frazier and Dr. Shirley Luckadoo officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the sanctuary of the church.
