E. D. (Butch) Privette

E. D. “Butch” Privette, Jr., age 73, of Forest City, died, July 16, 2019, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Cabarras County, he was a son of the late E.D. Privette Sr. and Lula Mae Mosley Privette, he was an autobody mechanic by trade, and was a member of the Florence Baptist Church.

Surivors include his wife, Frances Ann Matheny Privette of the home, a brother, Jessie Richard Privette and his wife Robin of Cassatt, SC, a niece, Lori Privette of Kannapolis, NC, sister in law, Jayne Bradley and her husband Kent of Lake Lure, NC, and his mother-in-law, Peggy Edwards Jones, whom he dearly loved.

There will be a Memorial Service at 2 o'clock Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in the Florence Baptist Church with the Reverend Dr. Bobby Gantt officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 o'clock prior to the service at the church.
