Dennis Martin

James Dennis Martin, age 60, of Forest City, NC died Friday, January 10, 2020 at Atrium Health-Pineville.  Born in Rutherford County, he was the son of the late James Martin and Betty Lou Martin Rogers.  Dennis was of the Baptist faith and was an electrician with CKL Electrical Contractors.  He enjoyed many activities including baseball, riding motorcycles, watching motor cross and fishing.

He is survived by a son, Casey Lee Martin of Forest City, NC and two grandchildren, Ariel Martin and Casey Lee Martin, Jr..  Also surviving are his special family, Shirley Bumgarner, Amber Spencer, Bradley Spencer, Avis and B J Pritchard, and Taylor Pritchard.

Funeral services will be held at 6 pm Tuesday, January 14, 2020 in The Padgett & King Chapel with receiving of friends from 5 until 6 pm prior to the service.  Dennis will be cremated following services.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
