Deborah Gowan Obituary

Deborah Beheler Gowan, age 61, of Forest City, died, June 1, 2019, at the Hospice House of Forest City. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late, Bill Beheler and Betty Tipton Beheler; a former nursing assistant with Tryon Estates and member of Riverside Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Allen Gowan and Chris Greene, two daughters, Alisha Gowan Somers and Keisha Greene, all of Forest City, three brothers, Billy Beheler, Michael Beheler, and Bobby Beheler. There are eight grandchildren.

The family would also like to say a special thank you to Danelle Thompson for her love and support of Deborah.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30pm, Tuesday, June 4, 2019, in the Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Jessica Godfrey officiating. Visitation will be from 2 until 3pm at The Padgett & King Mortuary. The Padgett and King Mortuary and Crematory is in charge of arrangements and an online guest registry is available at www.padgettking.com.
