Allen, age 77 of Harmony Hills Apartments, Forest City, North Carolina died Monday, January 25, 2010 at Autumn Care Center. She was a native of Rutherford County and a daughter of the late Ed and Carrie Morgan Allen; a retired textile worker and carrier for the Daily Courier. She was also a graduate of Harris High School, Class of 1951 and a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include a brother, J.C. Allen of Forest City and a sister, Jolaine A. Greene of Rutherfordton. There are also a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Eleven o’clock Wednesday, January 27, 2010 in the Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Wade Huntley and Reverend Marion Duncan officiating.
