A native of Rutherford County, he was a son of Floyd and Kathleen Butler Arrowood of Forest City, NC; a member of Adaville Baptist Church, attended Wofford College and was a former truck driver. In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife of ten years, Mona Lisa Arrowood of the home, five children, Blake Arrowood and wife Kelly of Forest City, Justin Arrowood and wife Miranda of Ellenboro, Rocky Richardson of Forest City, Cody Richardson of Forest City, and Harlan Dwayne Adams.
