She was born June 30, 1937 in Camp Springs , MD and was a daughter of the late Joseph Medlin and Edna Causey Medlin; a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa Roberson who died in 2001. Survivors include her husband, Joe Roberson of the home, a son, Robert Roberson of Spring Hill, FL, a brother, Wayne Medlin of Maryland, two sisters, Dorothy Young of North Carolina and Joan Kramer of Maryland. There are also six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Eleven o’clock Saturday August 15, 2009 at The Padgett and King Mortuary. Interment will follow in the Cool Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the mortuary from 7 until 8;30 Friday evening.
