He was born August 5, 1929 in Moore County, NC. He was a son of the late Huston Curtis Luck and Mittie Irene Parks Luck. He was a Deacon and member of Johnson Memorial Baptist Church and preceded in death by his brother, William Luck , his first wife of 28 years, Vennie Mozelle Luck, three children, Beverly Ann Luck, Ronald Keith Luck, Pamela Gail Luck, a step daughter, June Elizabeth Autry and a granddaughter, Brandy Nicole Luck. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Minnie Grace Luck of the home, two sons, Clifton Dwight Luck, Gary Lee Luck both of Lexington, NC, two step sons, Michael Reeves of Cliffside, Gary Reeves of Granite Falls, NC, three daughters, Debra Lynn Luck-Keith, Sarah Denise Luck, Angela Dawn Callahan all of Lexington, NC, step-daughter, Teresa Long of Cliffside; one brother, Bobby Luck of Asheboro, seven sisters, Margaret Maness, Joyce Jessup, Irma Stone, Carol Maness all of Asheboro, Maggie Cox of Ramsuer, Dorothy McBride of Star and Peggy King of Seagrove. There are 9 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren and 8 step great- grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Two o'clock Tuesday May 19, 2009 at The Padgett and King Mortuary with Reverends Brent Frady, Sonny Herring and Ralph Boyd officiating. Interment will follow in the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 Monday evening at The Padgett and King Mortuary, Forest City.
