Name: Mary Elmore Flack Date: July 14th, 1926 - May 5th, 2009 Obituary: Mary Elmore Flack, age 82 of 128 Iris Lane, Bostic, North Carolina died Tuesday may 5, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte following a sudden illness. She was a native of Rutherford County and a daughter of the late Claude and Anna Harrill Elmore; member of Florence Baptist Church where she formerly taught Sunday school, was active in the WMU and served on numerous committees over the years. She also worked as Traffic Manager for radio station WAGY for many years and retired from the City Clerks office for the Town of Forest City. Survivors include her husband, David Flack, Sr. of the home, a son, David Flack, Jr. and his wife Angie of Fredericksburg, VA, three daughters, Pam McKeithan and husband Mack of Bostic, Claudia Wilkins and husband Tommy of Forest City, and Missy Flack of Bostic, a sister, Ruth Wheeler of Decatur, AL, and four grandchildren, Dan McKeithan and wife Reena, Charlie McKeithan and wife Patti, Cassidy Butler and husband Stuart, and Elie Flack. Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, May 7, 2009 at Florence Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Bobby Gantt officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 pm Thursday evening at The Padgett and King Mortuary.
