Name: Gail Hudgins Dotson Date: June 18th, 1941 - March 28th, 2009 Obituary: Gail Hudgins Dotson, age 67 died Saturday March 28, 2009 at White Oak Manor in Rutherfordton where she was a resident. Gail was a native of Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Douglas and Nannie Sue Sane Hudgins; a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a member of First United Methodist Church, Forest City and a retired Social Worker for Cleveland County Department of Social Services. Survivors include her son, Greg Dotson and his wife Kally of Rutherfordton, grandchildren, Madison and Morgan Dotson, two sisters, Marvel Strickland and her husband Joe of Hickory and Joyce Harrill and husband Donnie of Forest City. Funeral services will be held at Two o'clock Tuesday March 31, 2009 from the First Baptist Church of Forest City with Reverend Dr. Barry K. Keys officiating. Interment will follow in the Cool Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 until 2 o'clock Tuesday prior to the service in the Church Parlor.
